Wall thickness selection depends on:

Hot-pressed BN:

Material selection depends on thermal, electrical, and mechanical requirements.
Hot-pressed BN can typically operate:
- Up to ~2000°C in inert atmosphere
- Lower temperature in air due to oxidation
Actual maximum temperature depends on atmosphere and mechanical load.
Heating:
- Avoid rapid temperature increase
- Ensure uniform heating
- Recommended gradual ramp-up depending on part size
Cooling:
- Avoid sudden quenching
- Gradual cooling reduces thermal stress
- Large components require slower cooling rates
