Advanced CVD Coating for UHV Evaporation
In organic material deposition and Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE), standard crucibles often struggle to meet the dual demands of zero contamination and precision heating. By utilizing advanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), Telite Ceramics engineers a highly reliable PG coated PBN crucible. We integrate a highly conductive layer onto a ≥99.99% purity substrate to create a premium pyrolytic graphite coated crucible.
1. Integrated PBN Ceramic Heater
By leveraging the electrical conductivity of the PG layer, the crucible itself acts as a high-performance PBN ceramic heater. This directly heats the inner wall, successfully eliminating the “cold spot” (condensation ring) at the crucible lip—a common issue with external radiation heaters.
2. Optimized for MBE and OLED
Whether you are looking for a stable MBE evaporation crucible for semiconductor growth, or an OLED effusion cell crucible for precise organic deposition, our high-density PG coating delivers excellent thermal anisotropy. It conducts heat rapidly along the in-plane direction, ensuring a highly uniform thermal field.
Core Engineering Advantages
- Precise Resistance Matching: As the heating element, the electrical resistance of the PG layer is critical. Telite strictly controls the thickness and structure to ensure batch-to-batch resistance consistency.
- UHV Compatibility & Ultra-High Purity: Free of any binders, the substrate boasts a purity of over 99.99%. It exhibits zero outgassing even under extreme temperatures (>1500°C) and Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV) environments.
- Exceptional Thermal Shock Resistance: The CVD-grown PG layer bonds seamlessly with the PBN substrate, allowing the crucible to withstand extreme rapid heating and quenching cycles without cracking.
